The agency has now signed eSports icons Rekkles, Olofmeister, GeT RiGhT, Orange and NiP – thereby becoming world leaders in the field.
eSports growing by leaps and bounds
The market value of eSports was estimated at USD 463 million during 2016. Two years into the future, the figure is expected to have doubled to well over USD 1 billion according to games industry observers Newzoo. Newzoo also assesses that the sport’s loyal fan following – 385 million people around the world – will have grown to around 500 million in three years.
Along with the evolution of eSports, Swedish based agency Orlando John has established itself as the leading representative for its stars.
With Emil ”HeatoN” Christensen in the roster, as well as high-profile names like Jonathan ”Loda” Berg, Julia ”Juliano” Kiran, Zainab “zAAz” Turkie and Mikail “Maikelele” Bill, the agency has boosted its position.
We can now reveal that Swedish icons Christopher ”GeT RiGhT” Alesund, Olof ”Olofmeister” Kajbjer, Martin ”Rekkles” Larsson and Jon “Orange” Westberg– along with the entire Swedish team Ninjas in Pyjamas – have also signed with Orlando John.
